The USO is a private 501c3 nonprofit organization with a mission to strengthen America’s troops by connecting them with family, home and country throughout their service to our nation. USO Alaska supports this mission by serving active duty, Reservists, members of the National Guard and their dependents throughout Alaska.
The USO Alaska Center and first-of-its-kind USO Wellness Center opened at JBER on Feb. 11, 2016. USO Alaska offers programming to meet the needs of single service members, military couples and families by supplementing existing military programming and offering additional resources, entertainment and activities for Alaska’s military community.
The USO Alaska Center Operations and Programs Manager can assist with deployment/homecoming support and other programming needs as well as coordinate delivery of in-kind donations.
Anyone interested in volunteering may submit an online volunteer interest form at https://volunteers.uso.org. Just click on the desired USO location to complete the brief online form, and a USO staff member will contact you.
