The Impact Zone Community Club
The Impact Zone Community Club is at McCrady Training Center, in the South Carolina National Guard weekend training site. The facility is open to all FMWR eligible patrons and guests. Enjoy a relaxing game of pool, darts or video games. Hours for the facility are based on the McCrady Training Center class schedules.

The Retiree Bulletin, published twice a year, is mailed to some 13,000 retirees and widows living in South Carolina to keep them informed of changes in Army policy and Fort Jackson recreational events.
FORT JACKSON GOLF CLUB
The Fort Jackson Golf Club, at 3652 Semmes Road, is a 36-hole complex, featuring two championship golf courses, a well-stocked pro shop, a dining area, a lounge and locker rooms. The club is open to active-duty military, retirees, active federal employees, reservists, National Guard members, DOD civilians, honorably discharged veterans (monthly only) and family members. A complete range of facilities and services are available to the golfer, including a spacious driving range; pitching, chipping and putting greens; a three-hole short course; and lessons and clinics taught by the club’s PGA staff. The Wildcat Course has generous fairways through rolling terrain. The Old Hickory Course is routed around several lakes and wetland areas.
There is an intramural golf league and a wide variety of tournaments and events throughout the year from which you can choose. NCO AND ENLISTED CLUB
The NCO Club, at 5700 Lee Road, is open to all ranks of military members, family members and DOD civilians. Come and enjoy the newly renovated club.
The club is open Monday through Friday for lunch, serving a full buffet with a variety of foods and flavors at great prices. Lunch hours are 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The club serves a breakfast buffet from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. Thursday with omelet and waffle stations. Holiday brunches include Easter, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day and feature omelet stations, waffle stations and much more. During the holiday season, there is a holiday party for the children with a princess and superhero ball.
The catering department offers a large variety of menu items, decorations and great customer service. The club specializes in military functions, wedding receptions, retirement parties and much more. No party is too big or too small. Handling all of your catering needs is what the department does best. Off-site catering is available anywhere on Fort Jackson.

MAGRUDER’S CLUB & PUB
Magruder’s Club & Pub, at 3305 Daniel Circle, is open Monday through Saturday and closed Sunday. From football to golf, the club is watching all your favorite sports on one of the club’s more than 16 TVs. The perfect neighborhood sports bar features weekly happy-hour specials so you can come in after a long day, do some after-work networking, play some pool or maybe throw a couple of darts and relax. The club features more than 17 draft beers, domestic, craft, imports and all your favorite bottles. Magruder’s kitchen is open late, to 10 p.m. on weekdays and to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Palmetto Falls Water Park
Looking for splashing summer fun? The Fort Jackson Palmetto Falls Water Park, adjacent to the Solomon Center, is open to the general public Tuesday through Friday from Memorial Day to Labor Day, unless you have a season pass. Park hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 1 to 7 p.m. Sunday. It is closed Monday. The phone number is 803-751-3381.
The park includes:
• A 10,000-square-foot family pool.
• Five water slides.
• A 600-square-foot splashdown pool.
• A lazy river, spanning 800 linear feet.

Children in sixth grade and below must be accompanied by an adult. Visitors should enter through Gate 2, the Forest Drive entrance. Please have your driver’s license, current registration and proof of insurance ready as you enter. If you are purchasing a daily pass, please proceed to the Visitors Control Center at Gate 2. All visitors, 18 years old and older, are required to have a clear background check to access Fort Jackson. After the background check process is completed, purchase your daily pass from the Palmetto Falls ticket booth in the Visitors Control Center. The Palmetto Falls ticket booth is open 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday. Daily passes are $10.50 each.
As you leave the visitors check-in lane, you will be on Strom Thurmond Boulevard. Get in the left-hand lane. At the second traffic signal, turn left onto Marion Avenue, and then turn right on Teliaferro. You will see Palmetto Falls Water Park from Marion Avenue.
Recently added Palmetto Falls Spray Park is within the Palmetto Falls entertainment area. An alligator tunnel, palm trees, a lily tree, two water cannons and a computer-automated fountain provide hours of interactive fun with the safety of the littlest visitors in mind.

Palmetto Greens Miniature Golf
Palmetto Greens Miniature Golf opened in early spring 2005. This new, scaled-down, 18-hole golf facility is adjacent to the Solomon Center and Palmetto Falls Water Park. The facility provides hours of fun for every age group.
Although miniature golf has been a favorite game for decades, it has evolved away from its early day predecessors of windmills and obstacles into a sport. Today’s miniature golf courses are “golf in miniature” facilities featuring miniature replicas of regulation golf’s “famous holes.” Expect undulations, contours, moguls and water, sand and vegetation traps on Palmetto Greens.
Palmetto Greens offers the player many of the challenges of real golf. Enjoy 18 holes of golf surrounded by a lush, botanical garden setting with meandering streams and waterfalls, beautiful fountain displays and realistic rock sculpturing.

Sports and Fitness
For sports enthusiasts, there is plenty to do, including a four-field softball complex, the Super Shelter, Patton Stadium and Semmes Road tennis courts — there are games being played regularly.

WILDCAT SKATE PARK
The park, which is behind the NCO club, is designed for use by skateboarders, in-line skaters and BMX bike riders. BMX bikes are only allowed Tuesday and Thursday.
Hours: Dawn until dark. Skate at your own risk. Safety equipment is required: elbow pads, knee pads and helmets.
Code of conduct:

Marion Street Station

SGT. Suds Car Wash
Americans love their cars. Many people devote a lot of time and energy into taking care of their cars. For others, it’s a chore that they put off as long as possible, usually to the point when it is either too embarrassing or too dangerous to drive. Now, it has become easier for everyone on Fort Jackson to keep his or her vehicle squeaky clean.
Sgt. Suds Car Wash is next to Burger King on Strom Thurmond Boulevard. The car wash is a self-service, 24/7 operation.
Customers can choose to use the coin-operated bays or an automatic drive-thru. Bays are taller than the average car wash to accommodate buses and military vehicles. Patrons may pay with cash or credit cards for the drive-thru service. The self-service bays are coin-operated.
Videorama, at Building 4159 Hill St., captures priceless memories of the BCT experience as well as other significant events for Soldiers when requested. All videos and DVDs produced are high quality and show actual footage of each Soldier’s unit. Videorama videographers follow Soldiers though 10 weeks of BCT and film their challenging moments, creating a professionally produced keepsake that will be treasured for years to come. Videos and DVDs of the basic training graduation ceremony are also available.

Perez Fitness Center has 20,500 square feet of workout space. The facility offers new Hoist and Hammer Strength weight equipment. Perez also offers a large free weight area that has benches, Smith cable machines, dumbbells, squat racks and more. The cardiovascular room has treadmills, elliptical cross-training machines, exercise bikes, recumbent bikes, Stairmaster machines and Cardio Theater.

512 Trolley Cafe
The 512 Trolley Cafe opens early in the morning to serve hot and cold espresso drinks and fruit smoothies to the Fort Jackson community. The 512 Trolley is next to Palmetto Greens Miniature Golf and the Solomon Center. It is open 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday (7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Family Days). The trolley was made especially for Fort Jackson and is fully equipped with restaurant-quality appliances. Customers can expect to find high-quality espresso-based drinks much like they would find in the big box and specialty coffee houses.
