Located in Maryland, midway between the cities of Baltimore, Annapolis and Washington D.C., Fort George G. Meade has the fourth largest workforce of any Army Post in the United States. Built in Anne Arundel County, the Fort is Maryland's largest employer. Fort Meade personnel totaled 42,133 for fiscal year 2010.
