We invite you to come stay with us at the Robins AFB
FAM Camp, located in the heart of Georgia. It is a wonderful
place to spend a night, week or month. The FAM Camp is a
peaceful campground nestled in the woods by Luna Lake.
Conveniences include 18 paved sites with 30 and 50 amp power
at most sites, sewer and water at all sites and four pull through
areas. The sites are large enough to accommodate big rig
There is plenty to do while camping at the FAM Camp. There are
many paths and trails through the woods for those inclined to hike,
sightsee and enjoy nature. The nights here provide campers with
the possibility of visiting with a variety of wildlife. We have
opossums, raccoons, deer, wild pigs and an occasional fox.
There are many things to do and see in the local area. Right
outside the gate you can find the Robins Museum of Aviation. It is
the fourth largest aviation museum in the nation. Macon is the
home of the Georgia Music Hall of Fame, the Tubman AfricanAmerican Museum,
Museum of Arts and Sciences, Mark Smith
Planetarium, Georgia Sports Hall of Fame, the Hay House and
A short drive to the southwest will put you in Andersonville, home
of the Andersonville National Cemetery and the Andersonville
National Historic Site, located at the site of the Confederate
Military Prison. This is the country's only memorial built to honor
all American POW's. Just a few miles further is the city of Plains,
home to former President Jimmy Carter.

FAM Camp rates:
From I-75 North or Southbound, take exit 146, proceed East on the
247 connector (Watson Blvd.) until you reach 129/247. Proceed
South (right) on 129/247 (maintain left lane) to Gate 4 (commercial
truck gate). Once you have entered the base, proceed East
(straight) on Peacekeeper Way to Robins Parkway. Go South
(right) on Robins Parkway to 10th Street, go East (left) on 10th
Street to Macon Street (traffic light). Turn South (right) on Macon
Street to the 4-way stop, 12th Street. Turn East (left) onto 12th
Street. Follow 12th Street until you reach Scout Lake. At the far
end of Scout Lake bear to your left. Follow this road to Luna Lake.
FAM Camp is located on the far side of Luna Lake.
