Upon Your Arrival

Updated On: 11/22/2011 3:43:18 PM

Your sponsor should meet you at the airport with arrangements for your transportation and lodging. Once on island, Marines can check in at the USO (United Service Organization) Hawaii liaison desk at the airport. They can call your gaining duty station for transportation and provide a variety of assistance.

USO of Hawaii has two locations: Honolulu International Airport between baggage claims E and F on the ground level, and at Hickam Air Mobility Command Terminal. USO airport center is open every day of the year except Christmas, 8 a.m. to midnight; however the Soldiers at the liaison office are under order to wait for the last flight of the evening to come in prior to leaving. If flights are delayed, the liaison office will wait until the last person leaves the plane. The Hickam AMC terminal is open 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. For more information, call (808) 836-3351.
