Welcome to the wonderful world of Fort Bragg Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation providing military Families with unique and thrilling events. MWR offers camping at Smith Lake, horseback riding at the stables, ice skating at Cleland Ice Rink, exciting rides at the fairs and the latest in music at our outdoor concerts. MWR restaurants and clubs offer a variety of menu selections to satisfy any craving, from a hamburger at one of the bowling centers or golf courses to pizza at Sports USA. Visit McKellar's Lodge for their famous barbeque, try a specialty coffee at one of our Rituals Coffee Café's, or grab a home-style lunch at Iron Mike's Brew Pub.
Spend some quality time with your Family or friends at the facilities described in the following pages. Remember, the money you spend is reinvested in MWR programs and facilities.

ARMY COMMUNITY SERVICE
ACS is an important part of the Army's program to assist Soldiers and their Families in meeting specific needs. ACS offers a wide variety of programs tailored to assist Families living on and off post. ACS is the place to go for answers to your questions and help with concerns or other issues.
• Airborne Attic offers items free of charge which do not need to be returned. It is open to E-4s and below and their immediate Family members only. E-5s and above will be allowed to use the Attic on an emergency basis only with approval from the Relocation Assistance Manager. Donations of clean, good condition household items are needed on an ongoing basis. For information, call (910) 396-8683.
• Army Emergency Relief is a private, non-profit organization established to assist Soldiers and their Families who are in emergency financial situations due to no fault of their own. Financial assistance is given in the form of an interest free loan, grant or combination of the two. Call (910) 396 -2507.
• Deployment Readiness Program provides support and outreach to Soldiers and Families in meeting the challenges and demands of deployment. Classes and workshops include: Pre-deployment, Children and Deployment and Reunion. The program also offers training and resources for unit leaders and volunteers in building and maintaining Family Readiness Groups (FRG). Deployment, Reunion and Children Fairs are also available upon request. To sign up for classes, schedule training for your unit/FRG or to connect with your FRG, please contact us at (910) 396-8682. Walk-ins are always welcome.
• Employment Readiness Program offers free workshops on career planning, resume writing and interviewing skills, as well as one on- one counseling to assist spouses, Active Duty, National Guard, Reservists, Retirees, Family members and DoD Civilians. The program helps expand or build new skills needed to obtain employment. Information is also available on educational and volunteer resources. Call (910) 396-2390.
• Exceptional Family Member Program provides assistance to Soldiers who have a Family member with special needs. The EFMP coordinates a support/advocacy group, educational workshops and recreational activities. Information on community resources is also available through the EFMP. Call (910) 396-2749.
• Family Advocacy Program provides a wealth of relationship and parenting support services, training and direct support for victims of partner abuse or sexual assault. Our services include:
• Education and Prevention classes and resources are available to help cope with the demands of life such as Parenting, Couples Communication, 8 Habits of a Successful Marriage, 7 Habits of Effective Families, Total Self-Defense Workshops and Stress/Anger Management.
