DLA Distribution Susquehanna, Pennsylvania is the largest DoD distribution center under the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) and within the DLA Distribution.

Letterkenny Army Depot (LEAD) was originally established as an ammunition depot. Today, it is known as the Army's Capabilities Based Depot. It is located in Chambersburg, Penn., between Gettysburg, Penn. and Hagerstown, Md. The depot includes more than 18,000 acres and is the biggest employer in Franklin County. LEAD is the premier DoD center of industrial and technical excellence for air defense and tactical missile ground support equipment, mobile electric power generation equipment and PATRIOT missile recertification.

NSA Mechanicsburg is centrally located between Hershey and Gettysburg, serving about 5,000 military, civilian and contracted employees. Naval Inventory Control Point (NICP) Mechanicsburg is the largest facility, with about 2,000 personnel, and the Navy Supply Information Systems Activity is next with about 1,000 personnel. NSA Mechanicsburg spans about 800 acres, with more than 150 buildings and 8.8 million square feet of space. More than 30 tenant commands are residents at the installation, including the Defense Logistics Center and Naval Fleet Material Support Office. The NSA maintains inventory manage - ment of weapons and equipment, end items and non-weapons system related items.

The Lebanon VA Medical Center is located in Pennsylvania Dutch Country, near Hershey, the chocolate capital of the United States. Lebanon VAMC provides acute medical, surgical and behavioral health care, providing intensive care unit (ICU) beds and acute care beds. Inpatient hospice care is available, as well as nursing home care provided to inpatients on both a short-and long-term basis. The VAMC has a full range of home care and community services, to include home-based primary care, homemaker home health care, community residential care, adult day health care and homeless veterans care. VAMC is a teaching hospital, providing medical and surgical care in affiliation with Penn State University Medical School. More than 250 university students are trained at the Lebanon VAMC each year, and additional training opportunities are offered to more than 150 students annually
