CHECKING IN

New York Army National Guard soldiers of the 222nd Chemical Company, based at Fort Hamilton, stand on board a simulated subway car as they conduct a training exercise simulating a joint response to a chemical attack and decontamination situation with the New York Police Department’s Chemical Ordnance, Biological and Radiological Awareness unit at Rodman’s Neck Tactical Village in the Bronx. The soldiers and members of the COBRA training unit used the exercise to share techniques and procedures and to enhance readiness in case of a disaster or terrorist attack. (Photo by Sgt.
