Travis is located off Interstate 80, approximately, 45 miles northeast of San Francisco and seven miles southwest of Fairfield, Calif.

If you or family members will be arriving by automobile from either east-west traffic, I-80 passes through Vacaville first then Fairfield on its way southwest from Sacramento to San Francisco. I-80 traffic should exit at the Air Base Parkway turnoff in Fairfield and drive east for approximately 5 miles. Air Base Parkway leads directly to the base’s main gate.

If traveling from the north, use Interstate 5 to Interstate 505, which intersects with I-80 in Vacaville just north of Travis. From Los Angeles and points south, use I-5 or California Highway 99. When you have gone fourteen miles past Stockton on I-5, exit onto California Highway 12. Approximately 46 miles from there, travel onto I-80 East to the Air Base Parkway and exit in Fairfield.
