Holloman HousingThe Housing Office strives to provide quality services to incoming and outbound personnel through housing relocation assistance and counseling. Every facet of the Housing Office is designed to assist with a move. Service begins before arrival. The assistance section invites calls concerning information about on- and off-base housing. This section also receives housing applications and requests for rental or sales listings and begins working them on the newcomer's behalf. This service continues throughout the tour of duty.
There are about 1,500 housing units on base, of which 190 are officer quarters and about 1,400 are enlisted. Currently, several renovation and upgrade projects are under way. The Housing Office also has information on local rental and sale units, which is updated daily. There are about 940 dorm rooms available on base for unaccompanied members. Unaccompanied personnel in pay grades E-4 and below are required to live in the group-managed dormitories. New arrivals should contact their squadrons before arriving on station to get assignment information. For more information, contact the Housing Office at (575) 572-3981.
